Health Sciences Academy

With health and medicine being two of the growth industries of the 21st century, there is an increasing demand in Australia and around the world for skills and knowledge in a broad range of disciplines.

The Queensland Academy for Health Sciences, now open on the Gold Coast, provides students with opportunities to focus on the health sciences, with the Academy curriculum giving scope for students to undertake subjects across humanities, social science and science.

Academy students would be those who consider the breadth of the health sciences to offer exciting opportunities.

Students may pursue a career in Australia or overseas in such fields as medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, optometry, audiology, pharmacy, psychology, nutrition and dietetics, veterinary science, biotechnology, education or medical research.
